Questions
Can I keep living in or using the property?
Yes. Only the papers are held by the bank. You continue to live in, use or rent out the property as before.
Is it cheaper than a personal loan?
Usually yes, by a wide margin, because the loan is secured by property. Tenure is also much longer, so the EMI is lower.
My property already has a home loan. Can I still borrow?
Often yes, through a top-up on the existing loan or a balance transfer with a top-up. We will check which route costs you less.
